Lead Pastor: Lance Norton

Lance and Staci have been with Mid Valley since 2015. Both Lance and Staci grew up in Duncan, OK. After earning his degree in Sociology, Lance attended Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary until called to the mission field. He continued his training and education with the International Mission Board in Richmond, Virginia before serving as a church planter in Wales.

James 1:22, “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves”

This verse has been particularly impactful for Lance over the years. This verse prompted Lance to move from being a “cerebral Christian” to serving the Lord with his actions. The lord used this verse to show Lance that it is not enough to just acquire biblical knowledge—he needed to put that knowledge to work. This conviction ultimately led Lance & Staci to travel to Zambia several years ago. On this trip, the Nortons met Wes and Laurie Wilcox who were in the process of starting New Day Orphanage. The Nortons have been able to return to the orphanage several times since their initial visit as well as support them through monthly giving and prayer. New Day Orphanage is unique in that it not only seeks to serve the orphans under its care, but also to spread the Gospel to surrounding villages.

Associate Pastor: Landon Norton

Landon and Amanda moved to the Valley three years ago with their four girls. After a year in Colorado, the Lord blessed them with a son, Ezra. In addition to serving as Mid Valley’s associate pastor, Landon drives with RAFTA.
